Jutsu Rules

1. No overpowered techniques. Common sense should prevail here.

2. No fake-ranking. This is where someone creates a jutsu which is actually stronger then the rank implies. If this is found to be occurring, the said jutsu will be removed or ranked according to strength.

3. Names should be kept english and japanese only [please also provide the english meaning in brackets]. If you are still somehow able to find the japanese name, that is.

4. It has become a growing trend to color your jutsu according to the element. This is allowed, but the correct colors are to be used. Wind is gray, Water is blue, Earth is brown, Lightning is Yellow/Orange and Fire is red. If you do not wish to color your jutsu, that is fine too.

5. Keep jutsu readable. If we are unable to understand what you are saying, how can we approve it? Professional posting also gives us an idea as to how good you are as a rper and how important posting is to you. Sloppy posting will send across the wrong message. Try not to do it.


Now onto ranks and allowed jutsu.

This begins in two ways. You may start with a main element such as fire, wind, water, earth or lightning. Or you may choose to have a Yin-Yang element such as wood, steel and so on. Someone who started with a Main Element, can choose to gain another element once they have become a Chunnin. If they choose not to have another Main Element at Chunnin, then they may choose to gain a Yin-Yang Element once at Jounin. If they were to choose having a total of 2 Main Elements at Chunnin level, then they have lost the chance to have 2 Yin-Yang Elements. When creating a new character, you may not start with elements any higher than your rank. Someone who is a chunnin could not start with 2 Yin-Yang Elements but can have elements lower than their rank. If you choose to have even 1 Main Element you will not be able to have 2 Yin-Yang Elements. Please Note: People who start out with Main Elements advance faster than someone who starts with a Yin-Yang Element. This is because the Main Elements are easier to master. All of this is represented in the table below.

Jutsu Ranking(Taken from Leafninja.com)

E Rank	E-Rank jutsu are the general skills every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. The students are expected to know these skills before graduating to Genin.
Examples	Bunshin no Jutsu, Kawarimi no Jutsu, Henge no Jutsu

D Rank	D-Rank jutsu are Genin-level techniques. These skills will make up most of a Genin's arsenal.
Examples	Kage Shuriken no Jutsu, Juujin Bunshin, Shunshin no Jutsu, Narakumi no Jutsu

C Rank	C-Rank jutsu are Chuunin-level techniques. Some Genin will have one to two skills at this level, serving as their "trump cards" to pass the Chuunin Exams. Any elemental Jutsu is automatically C ranked.
Examples	Kuchiyose no Jutsu, Nikudan Sensha, Shintenshin no Jutsu, Shishi Rendan

B Rank	B-Rank jutsu are Jounin-level techniques. Chuunin and Special Jounin are able to utilize most jutsu at this level.
Examples	Kage Bunshin no Jutsu, Omote Renge, Sensatsu Suishou

A Rank	A-Rank jutsu are Jounin-level and forbidden techniques. Some Jounin will develop their own unique jutsu from this level to serve as their "trump card" but these are mainly known to Kage-level ninja.
Examples	Chidori, Tajuu Kage Bunshin no Jutsu, Juin Jutsu, Gogyou Kaiin

S Rank	S-Rank jutsu are the generally forbidden or secret techniques known only to one ninja. They usually have a MAJOR drawback against the user.
