Name of Kekkei Genkai: Hitodama no Kyuuketsuki (Disembodied Soul of Vampires)

Type: ???

Bloodline Age: ???

History:
Originally, the Nasaki Clan were just vampires, but as their numbers dwindled and the human's rose, they began to breed with humans. Their children would then turn into full blooded vampires, but the effects on their human body were too great and the vampires were sealed within their bodies instead. Over time, it melded with their blood system, making them half human and half vampire. This leads to the Nasaki Clan's present day transformations.

This is also the reason as to why the Nasaki Clan lives in Kirigakure, the village is usually dreary, damp, dark, and cold. The Nasakis who have transformed have no need worry about sunlight intervening with their full powers.

Rank: ???

Abilities:
The Nasaki Clan has a unique genetic make up that allows them to transform into an entirely different being that they call vampires. This vampire form tends to have it's own unique personality and their own name. The member sees things in the vampire's point of view, and feels the same things the vampire does, but they can not control the vampire itself, only influence it. Only those who have successfully mastered the vampire are able to ask it to do what it wants. Others merely try to persuade the vampire to do as they wish. The vampire side has the member's best interest at heart, only the path is not always on the good side...

Their vampire half is generally a member's darker side. They are gifted with incredible speed and strength. Their senses also improve greatly. While in vampire form, they are basically twice as strong as normal human and much more intelligent. They are also able to fly for short periods of time, generally only up to half an hour. While in their vampire form, they are able to detect almost any living life form, thus most of them are hardly ever caught off guard in their vampire form. They are also able to feel the emotions of others. While in their vampire form, they tend to use more Taijutsu than Ninjutsu. Their Ninjutsu is limited though, they can only perform jutsus the member has learned and it is also limited to the member's chakra. Vampires have no chakra of their own as they have relied on their physical strengths for eons.

It is unknown how one transforms... But the Nasaki Clan suspects that a member is only able to transform once their body is able to take on the changes the vampire instills on their body. Once they transform, their human body becomes slightly pale and they are often seen with dark circles around their eyes. It also noted that they rarely ever eat, and when they do, it is only a little. A sort of "dark aura" also surrounds them.

The vampires that live inside of the Nasakis do know the reason though. A vampire child is born from the blood of the Nasakis ever hundred years. They live inside of the Nasakis, freely traveling between the bodies. The reason as to how is unknown, it has something to do with the seal that originally placed the vampires inside of the Nasakis. It was placed long ago, so it remains unknown.

There are many vampires living within the Nasakis, but they do not transform unless they have found the right person. Though some transform mainly because they are tired of being inside of the Nasakis and feeding off of their blood. They travel around in the Nasakis' bodies, trying to find someone they will be able to closely relate to.

Competition usually arrives, as most vampires tend to want the strongest Nasaki. The first to claim the Nasaki usually gets to have him or her, but sometimes if enough want the same person, they must fight for it. Once transformed, they are unable to move freely in and out of the other Nasakis' bodies. They must remain in their human counterpart's body. Once their human counterpart dies, they die as well. Though their human counterpart gains a small portion of a vampire's "immortality" and live longer than normal humans. Their human counterpart stops aging around the age of 20 and lives for 60 to 80 years more if they are not killed in battle.

Weakness:
After transforming, it is very hard to return back to their human body. They must have a "fight" with their vampire side. The fight usually ends with some sort of bargain made with the vampire. The bargain is about the only thing that keeps the vampire and human working together. Over time this bond becomes stronger and the bargain becomes worthless... but there are times when the vampire wins. If this happens, the vampire takes over everything and is allowed to have their body. And if that happens, their human side if forgotten and the vampire does as it pleases.

It is even harder to obtain the vampire stage again. The main reason being that they don't want to feel everyone's pain again. Most go through a suicidal state after returning to human, the main reason why there are so few of the Nasakis. The time it takes to recover and transform varies, but once they do, it becomes easier to change forms.

Though a vampire can indeed feel the emotions of others, they can also feel the pain of others. Though they can use the emotions to their advantage, it takes years and years to be able to predict what their opponent is thinking based off of their emotions. And very few are even able to do it accurately.

As they attack their enemy and inflict damage on them, they feel their target's pain. Each attack they deal feels like they are damaging themselves as well. Each death feels like their own. This was the main origin of the Jashinists...

Another weakness is that they are vulnerable to Katon jutsus or fire in general. They are also weaker in the daylight, but are still stronger than a normal human. In daylight, their power is usually cut in half. More experienced members will find that their power is only cut by a quarter or so.

Vampires can not perform any Genjutsu what so ever. But they are not as easily affected by Genjutsu either as their senses have become too refined to be affected by most Genjutsu. There is also the matter of blood...

After defeating their target, most of them drink the blood of their enemy... often draining the body of any blood. That or they kill the target first and then drain the corpse of any blood. Some are even known to have eaten a corpse's dead body parts... It is during this time that they are most vulnerable. Their thirst for blood is so great that they ignore almost everything for just a mouthful of blood. The blood helps sustain them while they are locked inside their human counterpart.

There is a risk though. If you stay in the vampire too long or transform too much, there is a strong chance that you can not return to your human body. Then again, if you don't transform, you can lose your ability to transform. If that happens, you tend to lose a part of your mind as the vampire within you is a part of you. It's like losing a piece of yourself and your sanity.

Note: You must be born into the Nasaki Clan to even have a chance of becoming a vampire. After that, you must show that you are a more than average shinobi, or obtain some skill that would make a vampire want to bond with you.

The Nasakis are a form of lesser vampires. They can not change others into vampires. They lost that ability when they merged themselves with humans.

Okay, I think I got out what I wanted to say... How is it? I'm not really sure what type of kekkai genkai you would call it either... nor what rank it should be. I don't if I left out some things... but if I did, I'll go back and edit them in. Once again, feel free to ask any questions you have about this.
